by | Oct 10, 2024 | Uncategorised

If your hearing devices have lost connection to your Android phone, it can be a frustrating experience.

Fortunately, the process to reconnect them is straightforward.

Follow this guide to quickly restore the connection and ensure your hearing devices are functioning seamlessly.

Steps to Re-establish the Connection

  • 1. Restart Your Hearing Device Application Start by closing and reopening your hearing device application on your Android phone. This simple step often resolves minor connectivity issues.
  • 2. Turn Off and On Your Bluetooth Turn off the Bluetooth on your Android device. Wait a few seconds before turning it back on. This action refreshes the connection between your phone and the hearing devices.
  • 3. Restart Your Phone If restarting the app and toggling Bluetooth don’t work, the next step is to restart your Android phone. This can help resolve any lingering issues.
  • 4. Unpair and Reconnect Your Hearing Devices If the above steps don’t resolve the problem, you’ll need to unpair and reconnect your hearing devices. Follow these steps:
    • Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth.
    • Press the gear icon next to your hearing devices in the listing and select Unpair.
    • Place your hearing devices in their charger for a few seconds.
    • Remove them from the charger and, on your Android phone, press Scan at the top of the screen.
    • Scroll down to Available Devices and select your hearing devices to reconnect them. If you wear two, ensure both are paired.
  • 5. Keep Your Android Software Up to Date It’s essential to keep your Android phone updated to the latest software version. This helps maintain optimal performance between your phone and hearing devices.
