How to Pair Hearing Devices to Your iPhone: A Step-by-Step Guide

by | Oct 10, 2024 | Uncategorised

Pairing your hearing devices with your iPhone can greatly enhance your hearing experience, allowing you to stream calls, music, and other audio directly to your devices.

Whether you have Starkey, Widex, Signia, ReSound, or Oticon hearing devices, the process is simple.

Follow this step-by-step guide to get your hearing devices paired to your iPhone.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Pairing Your Hearing Devices to Your iPhone

1. Prepare Your Hearing Devices

  • Begin by placing your hearing devices in their charger to make them ready for pairing mode.

2. Open Accessibility Settings

  • On your iPhone, go to Settings.
  • Scroll down and select Accessibility.
  • Under Accessibility, find Hearing Devices.

3. Search for Your Devices

  • While your devices are in the charger, your iPhone will begin searching for them. You should see a search indicator at this stage.

4. Activate Your Devices

Once your iPhone starts searching, remove your hearing devices from the charger. This will make them visible to your phone.

5. Select Your Devices

  • When your devices are found, you will see your name appear on the screen. If you wear two hearing aids, make sure both the right (R) and left (L) devices appear before proceeding. If you only wear one device, only one side will show.

6. Confirm Pairing

  • Tap your name, and you will be asked twice to pair the devices. Confirm both requests.
  • Your hearing devices are now successfully paired with your iPhone!

Why Pairing Your Hearing Devices Is Essential

Pairing your hearing aids with your iPhone allows you to enjoy a seamless audio experience. From clearer phone calls to direct music streaming and hearing notifications, pairing boosts not only your convenience but also your hearing clarity in day-to-day activities.
