Serving the Lido Key, FL, Community

Officially part of the city of Sarasota, Lido Key, FL, is a barrier island located between Longboat Key and Siesta Key. Development of Lido Key began after the completion of a causeway built by John Ringling (of Ringling Brothers Circus) in 1926, which led to the establishment of the Lido Beach Hotel (1936) and the Lido Beach Casino (1940) that also featured a ballroom, restaurants, shopping, a pool, and cabanas.
